Every FareBookings site runs on infrastructure we manage ourselves — clients don't get direct server access. That's a deliberate choice, not a limitation:
One bad upload doesn't become everyone's problem. Direct server access means direct exposure to malware, careless plugin installs, or a compromised file — on shared infrastructure, that risk doesn't stay contained to one site.
A burned IP address hurts everyone on it. Email and hosting reputation is shared infrastructure — one misconfigured mailbox sending spam can get an IP blocklisted, taking other sites down with it. Managing this centrally is how we keep it clean.
Email that actually arrives.
Hosting includes 1–2 email redirects as standard — enough for a real [email protected] forwarding to wherever you already check your inbox.
Why this matters more than it sounds
A free Gmail or Yahoo address doesn't carry the SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication that mailbox providers now check before they'll even deliver a message. Send from a proper domain email and it just works — send from a free one and confirmations, receipts and replies can quietly land in spam, or never arrive at all.
Need full corporate mailboxes — multiple real inboxes on your own domain, not just a redirect? That's available as an upgrade on top of hosting. Standalone email services elsewhere commonly run €3–5/month per mailbox — get in touch and we'll quote it against what you actually need.
