Two tools, one map.

Where you operate, and the zones you price by — two separate buttons, two separate purposes.

Working Areas

The general area your company actually operates in. One tool, its own button, drawn separately from pricing zones.

Zones / Fixed Prices

A separate tool for creating named zones — an airport, a city centre, whatever split makes sense for your business. These are the zones you'll see again in Pricing → Special Pricing when setting fares like zone-to-zone or locality-to-zone.

Draw Polygon

Draw the zone shape by hand directly on the map.

Auto zone

Type a city, postcode or area, pick a suggestion, and the exact boundary is drawn for you automatically.

Where the boundary data comes from

Exact limits come from OpenStreetMap, since Google doesn't expose city outline coordinates. If OpenStreetMap has no shape for what you searched, it falls back to a plain Google rectangle instead — good enough to get started, worth refining by hand for anything irregular. Very large or complex areas can be slow to generate — if Auto zone seems stuck, try a smaller area or draw the polygon by hand instead.

Existing zones list below the map with a filter/search and delete per row.

Next: Destinations.

The other half of building a closed, fixed-price system.
